As a healthcare strategist and operator with extensive experience across major insurers (United, Humana, and Oscar) and care providers (Teladoc, Optum, and Quorum), Hunter is committed to expanding access to needed care via telehealth and driving the adoption of value-based care. Drawing on his early career in value-based care consulting, he applies a creative, problem-solving approach to building “win-win” partnerships with health plans, health systems, and medical groups to expand access to high-quality dementia care nationwide.

At Isaac Health, he is driven by the organization’s proven ability to drastically improve clinical outcomes and the patient experience while lowering the total cost of care by as much as 20%. He views the current landscape of dementia care as being on the cusp of a major transformation, similar to cancer care 30 years ago, fueled by rapid advancements in early detection, new lab tests, and cutting-edge drug development.

This mission is deeply personal. Having navigated the profound challenges of caregiving and neurological care access after losing his mother to ALS and seeing three grandparents spend their final days in memory care, he understands firsthand the impact of cognitive decline on loved ones. He is deeply dedicated to expanding access to the kind of high-quality, compassionate brain health care that he wishes had been available to his own family.
