Providers Kristie Figueroa, CCC-SLP, CBIS

Kristie is a Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Brain Injury Specialist with over 15 years of experience evaluating and treating cognitive communication impairments in inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. During her time with Isaac Health, she has provided skilled assessment and intervention helping patients diagnosed with MCI, dementia, and other neurological conditions through evidence-based strategy training, cognitive exercises, and home program development.

Kristie strives to provide person-centered patient care that incorporates holistic support, multi-disciplinary collaboration and creative problem solving when appropriate. She encourages patients to guide treatment by identifying their priorities and preferences, encouraging them to self-monitor and advocate for greater independence. Because support systems are important in therapy, she encourages family members and/or caregivers to participate in sessions so they can reinforce recommendations outside of treatment.

Kristie is bilingual and can provide skilled therapy in English and Spanish.

Seeking care can be a challenge for many people and their caregivers but having a virtual multi-disciplinary option can significantly improve access to healthcare and quality of life.
