Shared medical appointments (group programs) at Isaac Health provide a unique way to receive medical care while benefiting from community discussions and shared experiences. Our group program, “Lifestyle Medicine for Better Brain Health,” was designed and is often led by Dr. Nadir Bilici, board-certified behavioral neurologist and lifestyle medicine physician at Isaac Health. Each program includes a small group of peers who meet weekly for 8 sessions.
Sleep quality is associated with risk for cognitive decline. You’ll learn ways to manage sleep disorders, habits that encourage healthy sleep cycles, and more.
Learn about mindfulness, breathing practices, and other techniques that are shown to lower stress levels and support long-term brain health.
Cardiovascular exercise is not only good for the heart, but also for the brain. Discover safe and effective ways to integrate exercise into your weekly routines.
Learn about certain diets, such as the MIND Diet, that are scientifically-proven to have a positive impact on cognitive health.
Receive tailored recommendations based on your health profile and lifestyle to lower risks for cognitive decline.
Gain a supportive community and a safe, educational space to ask questions and learn from others.

A shared medical appointment is a voluntary group session in which multiple patients are seen by a physician in a single setting. These visits are completely optional and offer an interactive and secure setting for patients to not only access medical care but also learn from peers within a community. At Isaac Health, we believe that shared medical appointments are a great way to bring together individuals with similar health concerns in a supportive, expert-led setting.
